Amitayus

Buddha of infinite life or infinite light.
It is an emanation or transformation of the Amitabha Buddha, who is considered as a spiritual father.
Amitayus is a Buddha of long life and is practiced to achieve longevity.
He has the appearance of a Bodhisattva, dressed as a prince, and holds in his hands a vase in which is the nectar of long life.
A small Ashoka tree is at the top of the vase: this tree grants wishes.
Amitayus in his manifestation is able to offer a reassuring quality.
It reminds us: “Do not worry, do not be afraid”.
His practice helps to recognize the clear light.
